Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service is to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Samhaengsi.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") and its members concerning the use of the three-line acrostic poem creation, sharing, and related services provided by the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" refers to Samhaengsi.com and related services that members can use regardless of the implementing device (PC, mobile, etc.).

  • "Member" refers to a customer who accesses the Service, enters into a service use agreement according to these Terms, and uses the Service.

  • "Samhaengsi" refers to the text-based creative works created and posted by Members using the Service.

  • "Post" refers to information such as signs, text, voice, images, videos, etc., posted by Members on the Service, including various files and links (including Samhaengsi).

Article 3 (Posting and Revision of Terms)

  1. The Service shall post the content of these Terms on the initial service screen or through a connection screen so that Members can easily understand them.

  2. The Service may revise these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the "Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions," the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc." (hereinafter "Information and Communications Network Act").

  3. When the Service revises the Terms, it shall announce the effective date and reason for revision along with the current Terms in the manner described in Paragraph 1, from 7 days before the effective date of the revised Terms until the day before the effective date. However, in the case of revisions unfavorable to Members, the Service shall clearly notify Members separately through electronic means such as email within the service or a consent window upon login, in addition to the announcement.

  4. If the Service, in accordance with the preceding paragraph, clearly announces or notifies Members that if they do not express their intention within 7 days, their intention is deemed expressed, and the Member does not explicitly express refusal, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

  5. If a Member does not agree to the application of the revised Terms, the Service cannot apply the content of the revised Terms, and in this case, the Member may terminate the use agreement.

Article 4 (Member Obligations)

  1. Members must comply with relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, precautions notified in connection with the Service, and matters notified by the Service, and shall not engage in acts that interfere with the business of the Service.

  2. Members shall not engage in the following acts in connection with the use of the Service:

    • Misappropriating others information.
    • Using information obtained from the Service for commercial purposes or allowing third parties to use it through methods such as duplication, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, etc., without prior consent from the Service.
    • Infringing upon the rights of third parties, including copyrights.
    • Acts contrary to laws or good customs and other social order.
    • Intentionally interfering with the operation of the Service.
    • Other illegal or unfair acts.

Article 5 (Copyright and Management of Posts)

  1. The copyright of posts made by Members within the Service belongs to the author of the respective post.

  2. Posts made by Members within the Service may be exposed in the Service and related promotions, and may be partially modified, duplicated, or edited for such exposure to the necessary extent. In this case, the Service complies with copyright law provisions, and Members can always take measures such as deletion or making private the relevant post through customer service or management functions within the Service.

  3. If a Members post contains content that violates relevant laws such as the "Information and Communications Network Act" and "Copyright Act," the Service may take measures such as restricting access to or deleting the post upon request from the rights holder or based on relevant laws.

Article 6 (Provision and Change of Service)

  1. The Service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle.

  2. The Service may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in case of maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, communication interruption, or significant operational reasons. In this case, the Service shall notify Members.

  3. The Service may change all or part of the services provided due to operational or technical needs.

Article 7 (Use Restrictions, etc.)

If a Member violates the obligations of these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Service may restrict the use of the Service in stages, such as warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension.

Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Service is exempted from liability regarding service provision if it cannot provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.

  2. The Service is not liable for 장애 in service use caused by the Members fault.

  3. The Service is not liable for the reliability, accuracy, etc., of information, data, or facts posted by Members in connection with the Service.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea shall be the governing law for disputes arising between the Service and Members.

  2. Lawsuits concerning disputes arising between the Service and Members shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum These Terms shall apply from April 26, 2025.
